Who We Are
Ireley Nursery is run by Kelvin Freer who has responsibility for propagation & production etc.
A dedicated plant person with a Certificate of Care and Competence at Pershore College, also a
member of the International Plant Propagation Society and the Hardy Plant Society.
We are a small local nursery, offering a variety of cottage garden plants including shrubs, climbers and herbaceous perennials not normally found in large garden centres. Our plants are propagated and grown on the nursery - not bought in. Plants are grown in reduced peat compost. We also add nutrition with a controlled release fertilizer giving a 12-14 month shelf life, plus added protection against vine weevil.
It is a working nursery therefore you will see plants at all stages of development, with new plants becoming available each month. We only sell plants that are well established in their pots so that they should thrive when planted in your garden.
